Okay... I admit it, I used the blog title as a little bit of bait for those guys out there that are really only interested in reading about sports or sports related material. In my own defence though there are some sports photos that will be enclosed so...
What's new...what's exciting?? Well, one would think that we would have a pile of news to share and we do but life has taken on that turn where we have been so busy taking pictures that we're a bit too busy to take pictures. I know, that probably just made absolutely no sense to any you but what I meant was that we have been really busy but haven't had much of an opportunity to relax and just go out and shoot for the fun of it. In the past few weeks we have shot the CFL Western Semifinal, a few dignitaries as well as some more pictures for the Sask Soccer Association. There is considerably more but everything has passed by in a bit of a blur of late :)
We are holding our last photo workshop until after Christmas this week with a lot more to follow in January. We have also started taking our workshops on the road and just finished teaching a few classes in Foam Lake last weekend....yep, busy. I did learn one really valuable lesson though that I will carry with me for a while... Rob doesn't do very well come later in the evening when he hasn't been able to have his obligatory afternoon nap. Actually, I'm sure that I am just being hard on him... he was fine on the drive home as long as I didn't happen to sing, talk or breathe lol...
Okay...onto some pics:
ISO- 100, Shutter Speed- 1.6 sec, F 2.8
I was puttering around one day and decided to shoot a couple of macro flower shots.
Just a few of the collages and posters that Rob has been working on as of late.
Mr. Weitzel at the football game. Is it just me or does he always appear to be dressed as a robber or something?? Guess it must be the touque
ISO - 400, Shutter Speed- 1/3200th sec, F 4.0 , Focal Length - 200mm
The above is a picture that I shot of the
Snowbirds while at the game.
This was a group of fans that got off of one of the buses from Saskatoon... my cousin Leah is second from the right. What can I say... I am actually rather surprised that they managed to make it into the stadium
A few studio shots that Rob took last week of Linda Wilson, lead singer of Sweet Spot.
Well, that's it for now everyone. I am hoping to post one more blog update before the New Year... I will be taking part of this week off due to the fact that I won't have any more days off until the 25th of December from here on in. Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some shots while I'm away on the road.
Oh right, I almost forgot to mention that if anyone is interested in seeing the episodes that Rob and I did for Living Saskatchewan they can now be found on their website.
If you get a chance try to get out and take some pictures while the weather is still bearable...
Have a great week!!
